Gas cylinder bursts in Rourkela, fire guts RSP Quarter in Sector 15
The fire mishap took place in quarter no. H-243 of RSP.
Rourkela: A gas cylinder burst led to a major fire at a quarter of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Sector 15 of Rourkela in Sundargarh district of Odisha on Saturday.
As per reports, a gas cylinder burst led to a major fire in Rourkela today. Accordingly, property worth lakhs of rupees was damaged in the blaze. The fire mishap took place in the Quarter No. H-243 of Rourkela Steel Plant.
Following the mishap, the fire department was immediately informed. After getting the call the fire engines were rushed to the scene and the fire brigade team contained the fire. Fortunately, no person was hurt or get killed in this incident.
