Former Nilagiri MLA Akshyay Kumar Acharya passes away at 78
Acharya served as the MLA of Nilagiri from the first time from 1980 to 1985 and again for the second time from 1995 to 2000, representing the Congress party.
Balasore: Congress leader and former MLA of Nilagiri Assembly Constituency in Balasore district of Odisha, Akshyay Kumar Acharya, breathed his last at his residence yesterday night.
As per the information received, he was ill following an unknown disease and was under treatment for long time. He passed away due to prolonged illness. He was 78 years old at the time of death.
Acharya served as the MLA of Nilagiri from the first time from 1980 to 1985 and again for the second time from 1995 to 2000, representing the Congress party.
His contributions to the community and the state will be remembered.
