Former Bargarh Dhanu Yatra artist Hrushikesh Bhoi requests Dist Collector to allow him for audition
Hrishikesh has requested the President of Dhanu Yatra Mahotsav Samitee and the Bargarh District Collector to give him an opportunity to audition for the role of Kansa in Dhanu Yatra.
Bargarh: Former Bargarh Dhanu Yatra artist Hrushikesh Bhoi has requested the District Collector of Bargarh to allow him for auditioning the role of Kansa. Last year (i.e. 20240 Bhoi was dropped from the role, after he was suspended from his Govt job as a hearse van driver over allegations of bribery.
The CDMO Bargarh had revoked the suspension order against Hrishikesh Bhoi on October 15, 2025 and directed him to join the Padmapur Sub-Divisional Hospital.
After the suspension was lifted, Hrishikesh has requested the President of Dhanu Yatra Mahotsav Samitee and the Bargarh District Collector to give him an opportunity to audition for the role of Kansa in Dhanu Yatra.
This year the world-famous Bargarh Dhanu Yatra will begin on December 24 and continue till January 3, 2026.
