Flag atop Lingaraj temple and CCTVS gutted due to lightning

The Badu Niyog, Brahmin Niyog and the temple supervisor blamed ASI in this matter.

Bhubaneswar: The flag that is fixed atop the Lingaraj temple gutted and 40 CCTVs burnt due to the heavy lightning that took place yesterday. Not only that bulbs inside the sanctum Sanctorum of the temple burst and the broken glasses fell there. This was informed by the Badu Niyog, Brahmin Niyog and the temple supervisor.

They said that 40 CCTVs were exploded due to the lightning. Also, the mercury bulbs were also exploded due to lightning.

The Badu Niyog, Brahmin Niyog and the temple supervisor blamed ASI in this matter. They said that such accidents happened because of improper earthling and poor quality work.

Today, a 5-member team of ASI visited the temple premises and accessed the losses.  The flag atop the temple has been changed. The electrician is doing repairs. They said that such incidents have deeply shocked everyone.
