Festive fervour grips Bhadrak for Diwali and Kali puja, Maa Bhadrakali appears in Vedamata besha today

Bhadrak: Festive fervour has gripped Bhadrak of Odisha for Diwali and Kali puja. Maa Kali puja is going on at 13 puja mandaps. Puja is going on at the shrine of Goddess Maa Bhadrakali, the presiding deity of Bhadrak.

During Maa Kali Puja, Mother Kali gives darshan in the form of Sapta Matruka. Today, the Goddess is appearing in the Vedamata besha.

It is believed that having darshan of Maa Bhadrakali in this attire fulfils the wishes of the devotees. Therefore, a crowd of devotees has gathered at the shrine of Mother Bhadrakali today.

Tomorrow, the goddess will give darshan in Mahakali Besha. Mother Mahakali Besha is worn on one day of the year.

Meanwhile, the seven-day long Vishwashanti Mahayagna has started from today. 20 platoons of police force have been deployed for peace and order.
