Evaluation of Plus Two answer papers begins from tomorrow

While the first phase of evaluation of Plus Two answer papers would be held from April 2 to 14 and the second phase between April 16 and 28. Besides, the evaluation will be done in two shifts.

Cuttack: The evaluation process of answers sheets of Plus Two exam, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), will begin from tomorrow in two phases.

While the first phase of evaluation of answer sheets would be held from April 2 to 14 and the second phase between April 16 and 28. Besides, the evaluation will be done in two shifts. The first shift will begin at 7 AM and continue till 12.30 PM while the second shift process will be held between 1.30 PM and 6.30 PM.

As informed by the CHSE, the evaluation will be done in 128 zones that include 50 online and 78 offline zones. It has roped-in a total of 12,000 teachers to evaluate 24 lakh answer sheets of arts, commerce, science and vocational streams.

The CHSE has informed that the evaluation of answer papers would cost around Rs 20 crore and the results will be declared on time by May 15.

A total of 3,93,618 candidates appeared the Plus Two exams from February 18 to March 27. As many as 2,47,391 students wrote the exam in arts stream while 1,14,980 wrote the science exam. Similarly, in commerce stream, there were 25,526 candidates and 5,721 in vocational courses. However, a total of 300 students were caught engaging in malpractice during the exams.
