Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway has rescheduled the Daspalla-Bhadrak MEMU and ran special trains with the aim to clear extra rush to Puri for Diwali celebration.
The East Coast Railway on its X handle informed that Train no.68444, Daspalla-Bhadrak MEMU, which was scheduled to depart time at 16.15 hrs (4.15 PM) today, has been rescheduled to begin its journey at 20.30 hrs (8.30 PM).
This apart, the Daspalla-Puri-Daspalla, Diwali special train departed from Daspalla at 11.30 hrs (11.30 AM) and reached the Puri at 15.00 hrs (3 PM). In the return direction, the train left Puri at 16.00 hrs (4 PM and is slated to reach Daspalla at 19.30 hrs (7.30 PM).
Likewise, train no.18519, Visakhapatnam-Lokamanytilak express originating from Visakhapatnam was scheduled to leave at 23.20 hrs (11.20 PM) today has been rescheduled to depart at 1.00 hrs (1 AM) on dt.21.10.2025 due to late running of link train.
Similarly, train no.04407, Puri-Anadvihar special, which was slated to originate from Puri on dt.20.10.2025, at 16.29 hrs (4.29 PM) has been rescheduled to leave at 21.00 hrs (9 PM) due to the late running of the link train.
