Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a driver kidnapped a mentally disabled woman from an isolated place in Bhadrak district. The incident took place near National Highway 16 Charampa outpost under Bhadrak Town Police Station.
According to information, the woman was standing in the roadside, as it was raining. The driver took advantage of the rain as nobody was present there due to rain.
He forcibly picked her up from the roadside and ignored the woman’s screams. The heart-wrenching scene has been captured on CCTV.
According to the footage, it can be seen that the woman had taken shelter in a shop verandah late last night to escape the heavy rain. At that time, a truck driver passing by that road saw the woman and stopped his vehicle.
He then approached her, forcibly picked her up, put her in the vehicle and fled in some direction. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV. After this incident came to light, there has been chaos in Bhadrak.
The police have started searching various places and have started efforts to rescue the mentally disabled woman.
