Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Capital Hospital is on full alert for to meet any emergency arises during Diwali celebration in the State Capital City, informed Director Rupabhanu Mishra.

According to Rupabhanu Mishra, the Doctors and other medical staff included nurses and pharmacists are ready to deal with any emergency during the Diwali celebration. For this, a temporary burn casualty unit has been set up in the hospital with more than 30 additional beds.

Along with the beds, adequate medicines used for treatment of burn injuries (dressing materials, ointments and injection and saline) have been kept read, Mishra informed adding that ICU and ventilators also have been made ready to admit any critically injured patient.

Specialists will be on duty in 3 shifts as usual and the doctors will be present 24×7 in casualty at Capital Hospital for the treatment of the patients.
