Dense fog prevails across Odisha, Warning issued for several districts
The regional Meteorological Department has warned that dense fog conditions will continue to torment the people of Odisha for the next two days.
Bhubaneswar: The regional Meteorological Department has warned that dense fog conditions will continue to torment the people of Odisha for the next two days. On Sunday, very dense fog caused the visibility to drop below 50 meters in isolated places of Bhubaneswar, Nayagarh, and Paradip during the early morning hours.
The fog situation will continue to prevail across the state till December 8, according to the prediction of the Meteorological Department.
The regional Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for dense fog across four district of Odisha, including Puri, Khordha, Cuttack and Nayagarh. A yellow warning has also been issued for the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Sundergarh, Rayagadam and Koraput.
The vehicular movement has been seriously affected by the dense fog.
