Deep depression in Bay of Bengal, red warning issued for 7 Odisha districts for heavy rain
An orange warning has been issued for Sundergarh for heavy to very heavy rainfall tomorrow.
Bhubaneswar: A deep depression is active in the west-central Bay of Bengal. Tonight, it will cross the coast of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh as a deep depression. It will cross between Gopalpur and Paradip. The wind speed will be 55 to 65 kilometers per hour when it crosses the coast. The gusty wind speed may be 75 kilometers.
A red warning has been issued for 7 districts for heavy rain due to the deep depression. IMD has issued a red warning for Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Puri districts. Similarly, an orange warning has been issued for 16 districts.
An orange warning has been issued for 16 districts of North Odisha, Coastal Odisha and Interior Odisha. A yellow alert has been issued to 7 districts with a possibility of heavy rain. Heavy rain is expected in the entire state.

A yellow warning has been issued for Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda and Bargarh, where heavy rainfall is likely tomorrow.
