Deadly accident in Balasore: Man and niece die while going to visit Durga Puja pandal
In an unfortunate incident, a man and his niece died in an accident in Balasore when they had gone for pandal visiting.
Soro: In a tragic incident, a girl and her uncle died in a road accident when they had gone to visit the Durga Puja pandals last night. The incident happened near the toll gate in Sheragada under Khantapada police station limits in Balasore district.
The deceased has been identified as Prafulla Nayak and his niece had gone to the puja pandals but unfortunately their car was terribly broken. The two of them died while being taken to the hospital.
According to information, the girl and her uncle (elder brother of her father) had gone to visit the Durga puja pandals. When they were crossing the Sheragada toll gate they met with an accident.
The accident was so deadly that both of them died while being taken to the Balasore Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
While Prafulla was driving the car, his niece was sitting in the front. Two others who were present inside the car have been admitted in the DHH.
Khantapada police reached the spot, seized the bodies and are investigating.
