Cuttack: The highly anticipated India vs South Africa T20 cricket match is set to kick off today at the historic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha.
The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has made extensive preparations for the match, with the Commissionerate Police ensuring strict safety measures for players and spectators.
A 50-platoon police force will be deployed, with 150 officers monitoring security arrangements. To ensure a smooth journey, the police have made arrangements for players to travel safely from their Bhubaneswar hotel to the stadium.
The Barabati Stadium is equipped with over 300 CCTV cameras, and spectators are prohibited from bringing food, water bottles, or throwable items into the venue.
The stage is set for an electrifying match as India takes on South Africa in the first T20 match of the 5-match series. After losing the Test series, India bounced back with an ODI series win; now, they’re geared up to start the T20 series on a high note.
