Cuttack: 60 platoons of Police Forces, 8 companies of Paramilitary Forces deployed
Rapid Action Force, BSF, CRPF and Odisha Swift Action Forces have been deployed.
Cuttack: As many as 60 platoons of Police Forces and 8 companies of Paramilitary Forces have been deployed in Cuttack City in Odisha.
Among the central security forces the Rapid Action Force, BSF, CRPF and Odisha Swift Action Forces have been deployed.
Besides, while barricades have been placed at some places, strict checking is going on at different places of the city. This was informed by Additional Commissioner of Police Narasingha Bhola.
He has also said that the city residents are cooperating and the situation remains peaceful.
It is to be noted that a 36 hour curfew has been imposed in Cuttack following tense situation that arose yesterday evening. The curfew was imposed at 10 pm of Sunday night which will continue till 10 am of Tuesday unless other order are not issued.
