A crocodile has been spotted in a river in Bhadrak district of Odisha creating panic among locals, forest department has issued caution
Bhadrak: Crocodile spotted in the upper catchment area of a river in Bhadrak district of Odisha. The local villagers are in a state of panic. It is worth mentioning that a crocodile has been spotted in the Kapali river in Shyamchand Patna of Dhamnagar block in Bhadrak district.
Yesterday evening, people were scared after seeing two crocodiles on the banks of the river. Hundreds of villagers gathered on the banks of the river to see the crocodile.
After informing the forest department about this, a team reached the spot and warned people through a loudspeaker. The crocodile might reach the lower catchment area due to the strong current in the water.
The forest department is warning people in the riverside areas through public address system not to venture into the river.
