Commissionerate Police registers two separate cases over Humane Sagar’s death

The Twin City Commissionerate Police on Sunday registered two separate cases in the sensational death of noted Ollywood singer Humane Sagar.

Cuttack: The Twin City Commissionerate Police on Sunday registered two separate cases in the sensational death of noted Ollywood singer Humane Sagar.

According to sources, the city police registered a case under sections 356(2), 351(2), 3(5), 115(2), 318(4), 61 based on the complaint lodged by Humane Sagar’s mother Sephali Suna at Markat Nagar Police Station in Cuttack earlier today.

This apart, the police also registered another case of unnatural death under section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

Sephali Suna had lodged a complaint seeking registration of an FIR and demanding urgent, deep, multi-angle probe into his suspicious and untimely death including financial irregularities. She had demanded an immediate registration of an FIR and a thorough, transparent, evidence-based investigation into Humane Sagar’s untimely and suspicious demise.

Suna had named a group of people including Humane Sagar’s wife Shreya Mishra, Dr. Subhendu Mishra, singer Arpita Choudhury, his mangers Dinesh Behera and Prashant Behera, Somesh Satpathy, Md. Abid (Bablu), Lulu Mohanty and Jagdish Mohanty. She alleged that the roles of Prashant Behera, Lulu Mohanty and Jagdish Mohanty appears highly suspicious and therefore must not be ignored.

She also had requested for evidence-based inquiry into newly acquired movable/immovable properties connected to Arpita Choudhury and the source of funds, Somesh Satpathy’s connections/involvement with Arpita Choudhury, and the source of money and financial trail behind an audio studio at Bhubaneswar linked to concerned persons, as may be revealed during investigation.

However, with the registration of two cases now it is suspected people will probe the case on different angles demanded by the Humane’s mother.
