CM Mohan Charan Majhi embarks on 3-days Keonjhar visit

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has embarked on a three-day visit to Keonjhar district from December 26, 2025. During his visit, he is scheduled to join in multiple events and inaugurate several programmes across the district.

Yesterday, the Chief Minister has inaugurated the Gonasika Mahotsav arranged in the Keonjahr Stadium and paddy procurement at Palaspanga Cooperative Society. He expressed happiness after witnessing the story of his journey from a MLA to Odisha Chief Minister.

The CM has promised that the DPR is in progress to make Keonjhar to Golden Keonjhar. He has promised that the Tarini Temple will get a new look and the heritage corridor project and San Ghagara will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 50 crore. The Chief Minister has requested the industrialists to give priority to Keonjhar first.

Today, he will attend a state-level science exhibition at DN High School Stadium, participate in Maidanakel High School’s golden jubilee celebrations, and visit Silisuan for Ol Chiki language centenary celebrations. He will also attend Padampur High School’s golden jubilee function as the chief guest.

On Sunday, Majhi will visit Sirigida for PM Shri High School’s golden jubilee, attend Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir’s golden jubilee celebrations in Baniapat, and participate in the 48th Pala Sammilani at Parkline Auditorium.
