CII Sports Business Awards 2025: KIIT gets Best Sports Stadium/Arena of the Year Award
The KIIT-DU has yet again brought laurels to Odisha by betting the Best Sports Stadium/Arena of the Year Award at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Sports Business Awards 2025 held at The Grand, New Delhi yesterday.
Bhubaneswar: The KIIT-DU has yet again brought laurels to Odisha by betting the Best Sports Stadium/Arena of the Year Award at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Sports Business Awards 2025 held at The Grand, New Delhi yesterday.
KIIT was honoured with the prestigious award for its contribution to the development of world-class sports infrastructure and its continued commitment to promoting sports excellence in India.
It is to be noted here that KIIT was adjudged “Best University for Promotion of Sports” at the Sportstar Aces Awards in both 2022 and 2025. Besides, it was conferred with the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar from the Government of India in 2022 for its outstanding contribution to sports development. Besides, KIIT was also honoured with the “Best Sports Facility” award at the CII Sports Business Awards 2023 and received the FICCI India Sports Award in 2022.
Meanwhile KIIT founder Achyuta Samanta shared the development on his X handle. “Happy to share that KIIT has been selected once again for a national honour in the field of sports. This year, KIIT received the award for having one of the best sports infrastructures in the country at the 3rd CII Sports Business Awards 2025,” he said.
“This recognition makes me very happy, as KIIT had also received the award for ‘Best Sports Facilities’ in 2023. Both honours reflect our continuous effort to support young athletes with good facilities, sincere guidance, and an environment where they can grow with confidence,” he added.
