Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja to hold high-level meeting over Apartment registration

Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja to hold meeting for discussion of RERA and Apartment registration tomorrow at Lok Seva Bhawan.

Bhubaneswar: A high level meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja will be convened tomorrow at the Lok Seva Bhawan at 3.30 pm. The meeting will be aimed at finding a solution to the issue of apartment registration on RERA and other related matters.

According to information, officials of several departments have been asked to be present for the meeting along with important records.

The Housing and Urban Development department asked ORERA Chairman, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest & Environment department, Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue department, BDA Vice-Chairman, BMC Commissioner Odisha Sate Housing Board (OSHB) MD, Director of Town Planning, Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) MD and Engineer-in-Chief of Public Health Engineering Organisation (PHEO) to be present for the meeting. They have also been asked to carry the necessary information.

The meeting will revolve around Real Estate Regulatory Authority and the Apartment Regularisation Scheme. Reforms to resolve the issues in apartment registration will be discussed in the high level meeting to be convened tomorrow.

The Status of forest lands falling within housing colonies, conversion of leasehold land to freehold in cases where building plans have been duly approved, encroachment of conservancy lane, issues relating to access to private lands- grant of permission for use of Government land for approach roads.

The officials have been asked to bring all relevant records and inputs for effective discussion.
