CBI raids IMMT, ex Director’s Res over irregularities

Bhubaneswar: In a major development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) here on Wednesday over alleged financial irregularities.

The central agency also conducted raids here at the residence of Barada Kanta Mishra, former Director of IMMT, in this regard.

in the raid at his residence, a total assets of amounting  Rs 1.14 crore have been ceased by the central agency.

Presently, Mishra is posted as Director of IIT, Goa.
