Body of youth recovered from hotel room in Balasore, Foul play suspected

Balasore: The dead body of a youth has been recovered from a hotel room under the SahadebaKhunta Police limits in Balsore district, Odisha. The police has detained a youth in connection with the incident and is  investigating the case.

According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Akash Mohanty of Jamabani area under Dantiamuha police.

The youth was reportedly staying in the hotel room with another man and a woman, who were from the same village as him. All three of them reportedly used fake documents to book the hotel room. The hotel owner opened the room after nobody answered or opened the door and found the dead body of the youth. Suspecting foul play, the hotel owner informed the police.

The police has seized the body and has detained one man for questioning. The police is also suspecting the woman and is searching for her.

Investigation is underway.
