BJP MLA candidate Jay Dholakia files nomination for Nuapada by-poll
Jay Dholakia is contesting the by-election as the BJP candidate, aiming to carry forward his father's legacy.
Nuapada: BJP MLA candidate Jay Dholakia filed his nomination for the Nuapada By-poll today, accompanied by BJP state president Manmohan Samal and senior BJP leader Basant Panda.
Before filing his nomination, Jay Dholakia took blessings from his mother at their residence in Khariar Road, after which he set out in a procession to file his nomination papers. The procession was joined by ministers, MLAs, and numerous BJP party workers and supporters.
Speaking to the press after filing his nomination, Jay Dholakia expressed his determination to fulfill the unfulfilled dreams of his late father, Rajendra Dholakia, the former MLA of the Nuapada Assembly Constituency in Odisha, whose demise necessitated the by-election.
