BJP fields Jay Dholakia as party candidate for Nuapada by-election
It is to be noted that Jay Dholakia had joined the BJP recently on the 11th of October.
Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Jay Dholakia, the son of former Nuapada MLA late Rajendra Dholakia, as the party’s candidate for the upcoming by-election for Nuapada. BJP’s Central Election Committee announced name of Dholakia for Nuapada along with party’s other candidates for three other states today.
It is to be noted that Jay Dholakia had joined the BJP recently on the 11th of October. His late father was the MLA of Nuapada after winning the Assembly seat by contesting on BJD ticket.
As per information, Jay Dholakia, the BJP candidate for Nuapada by-election will file his nomination tomorrow. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Nuapada tomorrow and will be present during the filing of nomination papers. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar informed about this today.
He further emphasized that BJP candidate Jaj Dholakia will win the Nuapada by-election by more than 50,000 votes.
