BJD forms steering committee for Nuapada by-elections, 6 senior leaders given major responsibility

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has strategized for the upcoming Nuapada elections by forming three key committees: a Steering Committee, a Zonal Committee, and a Local Action Committee.
The Steering Committee comprises six senior leaders, including Prasanna Acharya, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Niranjan Pujari, Snehangini Chhuria, Tukuni Sahu, Niranjan Triyak, and Ayub Khan.
The party supremo, Naveen Patnaik, has appointed a 10-member Zonal Committee, covering six Zilla Parishad zones and four ULB zones.
Key responsibilities have been assigned, with Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo and Sarada Nayak entrusted with the Nuapada NAC, and Rohit Pujari and Vikram Panda given charge of Khariar NAC.
Senior leaders have also been appointed to oversee each of the six Zilla Parishad zones in Nuapada and Komna blocks.
Besides, the Local Action Committee consists of three members who will work closely with the Steering and Zonal Committees to ensure the party’s electoral success.
