Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today recorded as many as 63 new COVID positive cases were detected under its jurisdiction.
The highest number of cases (9 cases) was reported from the Patia area. It was followed by Chandrasekharpur and Niladri Vihar, where five cases each were detected in the last 24 hours.
The active cases in the jurisdiction of BMC now rose to 272 with the detection of 63 news cases.
The City Civic body also informed that 34 patients recovered from the deadly virus taking the total recovery cases to 1,55,638.
