Mayurbhanj: Atleast one person was killed and nine others injured as the passenger vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a truck at Asanjoda on NH-18 on Sunday.
The deceased person identity has not been ascertained yet.
As per reports, the passenger vehicle carrying ten people was hit by a speeding truck. Following which, the vehicle turned turtle killing one person on the spot and leaving nine injured. Of which five person health condition is stated to be critical.
On being informed about the accident, the fire personel reached the spot, rescued the injured and admitted them to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Mayurbhanj for treatment.
Later, the police reached and started an investigation in the accident site.
