Berhampur lawyer Pitabasa Panda murder case: Police lift 4 accused from Bihar, West Bengal
At around 10 pm on October 6, two miscreants came in a bike and allegedly shot and killed Pitabasa Panda near his house
Bermhapur: In the murder case of lawyer Pitabasa Panda in Berhampur, Police have lifted 4 accused persons from Bihar and West Bengal. The main accused and sharp shooter along with his three other accomplices have been nabbed by police.
It is to be noted that at around 10 pm on October 6, two miscreants came in a bike and allegedly shot and killed Pitabasa Panda near his house. It has been learnt that before committing the crime, the criminals from Bihar had done rekey of Pitabasa’s house to ensure from where they would easily escape without leaving any evidence after opening fire at him. As per information, they had been living in a rented house in Bermhapur city, about one and a half kilometers away from the crime scene, for about 15 days.
They had also brought along a Kata gun used in the crime world of Bihar and fired from it. However, from one source it is known that the main accused and the sharp shooter has been caught, while from another source it is known that all his accomplices have been caught. Therefore, it will be confirmed after Police will provide the fact about this. Police are interrogating two people who were picked up from Berhampur and Visakhapatnam.
