Ban imposed on entry to Shikharchandi hill following elephant sighting
The Forest Department has impose restriction on the entry to Shikharchandi hill as two elephants were spotted roaming in the area.
Baranga: The Forest Department has impose restriction on the entry to Shikharchandi hill as two elephants were spotted roaming in the area.
Sources revealed that two elephants have been staying in the Shikharchandi hill. Keeping in mind the safety of civilians, the Forest Department has banned all entry into the hill.
As the holiday season is ongoing, tourist have been flocking to the hill area for picnic and to visit the temple atop the hill.
Due to the presence of elephants, tourists have been barred from going to the hill for an indefinite period from today. The main gate is closed. The forest officials and Infocity police station police are alerting people in front.
On the other hand, two teams have been formed to keep an eye on the track of the two elephants.
