Baby elephant enjoys bath time in Odisha’s Sambalpur district, watch

Sambalpur: A cute video has surfaced lately in which a baby elephant has been spotted taking bath. The interesting video has come from the Maltij village of Tempargarh panchayat under the Jujumura block of Sambalpur district in Odisha.

This morning, the elephant calf was seen enjoying a bath while its mother and other elephants stood guard nearby. Afterward, the herd, including the baby elephant, returned to the forest.

Notably, a herd of elephants had stayed overnight in Gudapal village the previous day. The forest department is currently tracking the movement of these elephants.

Interestingly, a larger herd of 36 elephants has been spotted roaming different areas of Jujumura, indicating the presence of a significant elephant population in the region.
