Alleged medical negligence at Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar, 13-month-old child dies
A child died at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar while undergoing treatment. An unrest was seen outside the premises of the hospital.
Bhubaneswar: Unrest at Bhubaneswar capital hospital prevailed after a 13-month old child died due to wrong administration of injection. The family has alleged that their child died to medical negligence.
According to information, the family was a resident of Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar. The child was unwell and sick. As the health of the child showed no signs of getting better, the family members took the child to the capital hospital for treatment.
After treatment, the child was discharged and the family took their baby to home. In the evening the health of the child again deteriorated. The family members again rushed to the Capital Hospital.
Later on, the family was informed that the child died while undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. The family members of the 13-month old baby have staged a protest after the child’s death.
The family alleged that their child died due to medical negligence in the Capital Hospital.
