All 10,000 box office tickets for the India vs South Africa T20 match to be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9 has been sold out, informed the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).
Cuttack: All 10,000 box office tickets for the India vs South Africa T20 match to be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9 has been sold out, informed the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).
According to OCA, all 10,000 tickets for the India vs South Africa T20 International match of the IDFC First Bank South Africa Tour of India have been sold out. Even the specially-abled spectators also purchased their tickets for the match, it informed.
The Association further said that as all the offline tickets has been sold out the box office will remain closed, and no further tickets will be available for purchase tomorrow.
After the online tickets were sold on December 1, counters at the Barabati Stadium were opened today to sell the offline tickets. Over 20,000 cricket lovers had made a beeline since last night to get the tickets to watch the match live at the stadium. However, most of them were unhappy after failing to get a ticket even after standing in queue for several hours.
The Commissionerate Police with the help of OCA and other local administration had made elaborate arrangement for a smooth and peaceful sale of the tickets.
