238 OAS probationary officers get first postings across Odisha
As many as 238 Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) probationary officers have been given their first postings across Odisha following the successful completion of their training.
Bhubaneswar: As many as 238 Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) probationary officers have been given their first postings across Odisha following the successful completion of their training.
As per a notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department today, these OAS probationary officers have been posted as Deputy Collectors and Tehsildars in district collector offices and sub-collector offices in different districts.
This apart, a small number of officers have been posted to other departments such as the Board of Revenue, Commerce & Transport, Water Resources, and Housing & Urban Development.
The OAS officers who got some major appointments today are Swetashree Mohapatra, who topped the Odisha Civil Services Examination-2022, has been posted as Deputy Collector in Bhadrak district. Similarly, Pinky Parbina Parida, who secured the second position, has been posted as Tehsildar in Jagatsinghpur, while Prajna Paramita Bhuyan and Ajad Kumar Sahu have both posted as Deputy Collectors in Subarnapur district.
The appointment order marks the end of their training period. Besides it give them practical, ground-level experience in revenue administration and public service.
