2 minor students detained by conductor, forced to travel 25 km in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj
The conductor did so and took them to the last stoppage of the bus as the kids could not pay the bus fare of Rs 5 each
Baisinga: In a bizarre incident, 2 minor students were detained by the conductor of a bus for which they were forced to travel 25 km in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Monday. They were rescued by their parents during the return journey after a couple of hours.
As per reports, son of Saroj Puthal of Baisinga village, and son of Brajmohan Behera of Nadpur village, both minor students, were waiting for the bus at Nadpur to go Baisinga.
Later they boarded a LAccMI bus at Nadpur village square. While getting up to the bus they said the conductor that they don’t have money to pay the ticket fare, but their fathers are waiting at Baisinga bus stand, who will pay.
However, unfortunately, when the bus reached Baisinga, the fathers of the kids were yet to reach the bus stand. Not seeing their fathers, the kids requested the conductor that they should be allowed to get down and during the return journey the ticket fare will be paid.
However, the bus conductor forgot humanity and forced the two minor boys to remain in the bus as the bus travelled to the last stoppage, Kalma. Later, the father of one of these kids called the conductor who said that the students were not allowed to get down as they had not paid the bus fare of Rs 5 each.
Later, after a couple of hours the bus returned when the parents only rescued their kids from the bus after paying the bus fare.
