15 foot long python rescued in Athagarh area of Cuttack district, watch

Athagarh: A huge python has been rescued in Athagarh area of Cuttack district in Odisha on Tuesday. The mammoth reptile was rescued near the main gate of the J K Laxmi Cement Factory under Khuntuni police station limits in Athagarh area.
According to reports, employees arriving for their duty at the JK Lakshmi Cement Factory spotted the massive snake near the main gate. The reptile was seen trying to digest a large animal it had swallowed.
The employees immediately informed the Khuntuni Forest Department about the snake. After getting information, the forest officials reached the spot and rescued the python. Upon observation it was learnt that the snake was about fifteen-foot long.
The forest department officials rescued the giant python and later released it at a lonely place into the forest, said the forest department official.
