Angul: A major fire broke out at Belamala village under Charampa police limits of Bhadrak district in Odisha on Thursday night.
According to reports, atleast 10 houses of five families were gutted in the fire for some unknown reason. The locals immediately tried to douse the fire but unfortunately failed, as a result within no time the houses were burnt.
On being informed, the local fire fighters reached the spot and took control over the flames.
No casualties have been reported so far. Properties worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.
