10 foot long crocodile rescued in Mahakalapada Block of Kendrapara district in Odisha, watch

The huge reptile was rescued in the Dattapur village under Mahakalapada Block of the district.

Mahakalapada: A 10 foot long crocodile has been rescued in Kendrapara district of Odisha on Saturday. The huge reptile was rescued in the Dattapur village under Mahakalapada Block of the district.

As per information, the villagers initially spotted the huge crocodile in the village pond. They got frightened and immediately informed the forest department.

After getting information, the Forest officials reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation. Finally, after some effort the Forest officials managed to rescue the crocodile with the help of the villagers.

Upon observation it was found that the crocodile was about 10 foot long.  The Forest officials took the rescued crocodile along with them and later released it to the Galia River.

After witnessing the crocodile in the village pond people are scared.
