New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the need for a unified Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) structure for police forces across India at the ‘Anti-Terrorism Conference-2025’ in New Delhi today.

Shah highlighted the critical role of ATS in combating terrorism and directed all state Director Generals of Police to implement this structure promptly.

The conference aimed to strengthen cooperation and strategies against terrorism. Shah’s call for a common ATS structure seeks to enhance coordination and effectiveness in counter-terrorism efforts nationwide.
