Jaisalmer: In a shocking and tragic accident in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan a moving passenger bus caught fire. There were more than 55 passengers in the bus. Several are feared to have been charred to death and many others have been critically injured.
According to reports, the bus was going from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. Suddenly, it caught fire in the middle of the road. The accident took place near a village called Thaiyat.
There were more than 55 passengers in the bus. Several are feared to have died while others were injured in the fire. After the incident, the locals started rescue work. The injured have been rescued and admitted to the hospital.
It is expected that the death toll will increase further. However, it is not known as to how the fire broke out in the bus. Fire brigade and police have reached the spot. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
