Rajasthan man carries 8 foot long crocodile on his shoulder after officials fail to respond

A video from Kota showing a man carrying a right foot log crocodile on his shoulders has gone viral on social media.

Rajasthan: In a shocking incident, a video showing a man carrying a right foot log crocodile on his shoulders has gone viral. The incident happened on Friday night in Banjari village of the Itawa sub-division in Kota.

According to the reports, the massive crocodile which weighed nearly 80 kilograms, entered a house. The family, who was sitting together in the living room around 10 pm fled in panic as the animal crawled inside and moved into another room.

Despite several calls to the local authorities, no rescue team arrived for a long time. Further, as panic spread through the village, locals sought help from wildlife enthusiast, reportedly identified as Hayat Khan Tiger.

Hayat was known for conducting rescue operations in the area. He then reached the spot with his team and began a one hour rescue operation. They safely restrained the crocodile by taping his mouth and tying his legs before moving it out of the house.

A viral video shows Hayat lifting the reptile into his shoulders. The crocodile was later released into the Chambal River next morning.

This was reportedly the third crocodile rescue in Banjari village within a year. Residents say a nearby pond has become home to several crocodiles, causing constant fear in the area.
