Man drowns 19-year-old girlfriend to death in Indore, dumps body in drum
A 33-year-old man drowned his 19-year-old girlfriend to death in a drum of water by tying her hands and legs in Dewas.
Indore: In a shocking incident, a 33-year-old man killed his 19-year-old girlfriend by tying her hands and legs and drowning her in a drum of water in Dewas. The incident came to light on Wednesday when the decomposed body was found inside a rented house.
According to the sources, the girl had been reported missing on September 20 late at night and her family had lodged a complaint at the local police station.
During the investigation, police confirmed her identity and linked the case to her partner. It was then revealed that the man had been in a relationship with the girl for the past few years.
Further, he had reportedly moved to a different rented house. A few days ago, after checking the girl’s phone, he suspected her of talking to other boys.
Believing that she was being untruthful, he allegedly planned to kill her. He called her to his home, tied her hand and legs and drowned her in the water filled drum.
The body was found after the neighbors noticed a foul smell and informed the police. As of now, the body has been sent for post mortem examination. Additionally, further details are awaited.
