New-Delhi: The Luthra brothers, Saurabh and Gaurav, the principal owners of Goa’s Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, where a fire tragedy took 25 people lives, have been arrested in Thailand and likely to be brought to India soon.

The action comes shortly after the Goa Police suspended their passports and also requested the Ministry of External Affairs  to revoke the passports of Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra, co-owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in North Goa.

As per Goa Police revealed that their investigation into the recent fire incident found that the Luthra brothers booked flight tickets to Thailand  at around 1.47 am on Sunday. The Goa Police said they fled despite knowing the extent of the fire and several people, including their own staffers, were trapped.
