Chargesheet filed against Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere stampede case

New Delhi: Chargesheet has been filed against superstar Allu Arjun in the case of the stampede at Sandhya Theathre during premiere of ‘Pushpa 2’.
Hyderabad police have filed a chargesheet against actor Allu Arjun and 22 others in connection with the stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2.
The incident occurred on December 4, 2024, at Sandhya Theatre, resulting in one death and several injuries. Allu Arjun has been named as the 11th accused in the case.
The police investigation found the theatre management and Allu Arjun’s security team responsible for the stampede. Allegations include negligence in crowd control despite Arjun’s presence. He faces charges under IPC Section 304-A (causing death by negligence).
Allu Arjun had earlier donated Rs. 25 lakh to the victim’s family and offered to cover the injured son’s medical expenses. The case will now proceed in court.
