Bengaluru woman harassed late night by three men, video goes viral; Watch

Bengaluru: The SG Palya police in Bengaluru has registered an FIR against three persons, arrested them and remanded them to the judicial custody as they allegedly harassed a woman for several kilometres on the main road travelling on her scooty alone during night time on Silk Board Junction.

The viral video of the incident was posted on X by one Abhinav Vasudevan, the eyewitness following the two vehicles ahead of him. In the video it can clearly be seen that the three men were continuously following and harassing the woman travelling on road at night.

The footage shows the youths riding triple on a gearless scooter and moving close towards the woman motorist.

“Saw a girl being harassed by a group of guys for several kms on a main road, & this was before 10. I took a video as evidence and intervened, in they immediately fled. @BlrCityPolice @blrcitytraffic,” Vasudevan captioned the video while sharing it.

He tagged the Bengaluru City Police and the Bengaluru City Traffic Police on his X post to initiate appropriate legal action.

Meanwhile, police has re-posted the video and responded to it saying suitable legal action has been taken. An FIR has been registered, the accused persons have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

The accused have been identified as Roshan (19), Ayan (19), and Rihan Khan (18)  the alleged bike involved in the harassment has been identified by the authorities.
