Badrinath-Kedarnath temple committee urges devotees to carry warm clothes as temperature drops due to snowfall

Uttarakhand: Snowfall in Kedarnath Dham has resulted in a temperature drop in the region. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has urged devotees to visit Kedarnath Dham well-prepared with warm clothing and essential medicines.
The Vaishno Devi Yatra has been resumed after being suspended for three days because of heavy rainfall and poor weather in the Trikutha Hills.
The shrine board confirmed the news on X and said, “Jai Mata Di, As already communicated, all Yatra registration counters shall remain operational tomorrow, October 8, 2025, from 6:00 AM onwards.”
“Devotees are advised to stay updated through official communication channels for further information,” the announcement added. The announcement has brought relief and happiness among devotees.
