At least four people died and several others were injured after being hit by Vande Bharat Express train in Bihar’s Purnia
Patna: In a tragic incident, at least four people died and several others were injured after being hit by Vande Bharat Express train in Bihar’s Purnia today morning. The incident took place near Jabanpur.
As per reports, the incident happened when some youths were returning after watching a cultural programme at Durga Mela. They were hit by the speeding Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express train at the time of crossing the line at around 5.00 am. Three of them died on the spot and one died during treatment at the GMCH.
Some locals gathered at the spot and informed the police about the same. Immediately Railway protection Force (RPF) personnel rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem to find the exact cause of the death.
