26-year-old man arrested in Haryana's Nuh district for allegedly spying for Pakistan, sharing sensitive info with Pakistani handlers.

A 26-year-old man identified as Armaan have been arrested in Haryana’s Nuh district on suspicion of spying for Pakistan. He was caught by police in Rajaka village on Saturday after central investigation agencies alerted them to his suspicious behavior.

As per police, Armaan had been passing on sensitive data regarding the Indian Army and other army operations to a Pakistan High Commission staffer in Delhi on WhatsApp and social media sites. His smartphone was confiscated, showing chats, images, and videos that were being shared with Pakistani numbers.

This arrest comes in the fourth such instance in Haryana over the last few days. Armaan was arrested and presented before a local court, which sent him to six days’ police custody. A case against him has been registered under the sections of the Official Secrets Act and treason. Police are also probing the extent of his espionage operations.
