TVS Apache RTX launched in India, gets a new RT-XD4 engine

TVS has launched the new adventure tourer in India and it is none other than the TVS Apache RTX. The TVS Apache RTX launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. There are a total of three variants for the motorcycle.
The bookings of the TVS Apache RTX have opened in India and the deliveries of the motorcycle will be from November 15.
Specifications
TVS Apache RTX is powered by a new 299.1cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The engine generates maximum power of 35.5bhp at 9,000rpm and peak torque of 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine gets dual cooling technology and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle gets a new RT-XD4 platform. The engine does support ethanol-blended fuels.
TVS offers four riding modes on-board- Urban, Rain, Tour and Rally. There is traction controls along with ABS settings on the motorcycle. Other technology features on the bike include 5-inch Bluetooth enabled TFT display, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control and linear traction control.
Colour options on the motorcycle are Viper Green, Metallic Blue, Pearl White, Lightning Black, and Tarn Bronze.
Prices
The base variant costs Rs 1.99 lakh while the top and custom spec BTO cost Rs 2.14 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh respectively.
