The company has not made any changes in the base variant of the Model Y. The long range RWD trim of the Model Y now features a larger 84.2kWh battery pack. The price of the variant has remained the same as earlier.
According to a report by Autocar India, the Tesla Model Y now comes with a bigger 84.2kWh battery pack that offers an estimated range of 661km. This is an increase of 39km if compared to the older 78.1kWh battery pack. The older range was 621km. Apart from the above mentioned changes, there is no other change in the variant. The features in the car remain the same.
The base RWD variant still comes with 64kWh battery pack. The claimed range of this variant is 500km. There is a 299hp rear axle mounted electric motor in the Model Y.
When it comes to prices, the Tesla Model Y costs Rs 59.89 lakh for the Standard variant. Similarly, the Long Range variant costs Rs 67.89 lakh.
