Tata Motors has revealed the prices of the new Sierra variants. The price of the Tata Sierra range from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 18.49 lakh (Ex-showroom prices).

The Tata Sierra will be sold in seven trims: Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. The Sierra is available in six colours: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Cloud, Munnar Mist, Bengal Rouge and Andaman Adventure. However, the same colour choices might vary by variant.

The price of all the variants except for the top two variants have been announced.

The all-new Sierra will be placed below the Harrier but above the Curvv in the automaker’s line-up.  The top variant prices are still to come, but the current list makes it easy to see how the Sierra range is divided and what features each variant gets.

Tata Motors offers the Sierra model in 7 trims and three engine options of 1.5-litre Revotron turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre Hyperion petrol, and 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel. Transmission options include six-speed manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, and seven-speed DCT (DCA in Tata’s terms) units.

The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 160hp and comes paired with automatic gearbox. The 106hp 1.5-litre petrol is paired with manual and dual-clutch automatic. Meanwhile, the 118hp 1.5-litre diesel comes with manual or automatic gearboxes.

The Smart+ trim features LED DRLs, Six airbags, Electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, and tail-lamps, push-button start, rear AC vents,. It runs on 17-inch wheels and the breaking duties are handled by four disc brakes and electronic parking brake with auto hold. It also gets SmartPause function, Auto-dimming IRVM, Reverse parking sensors, and more.

Meanwhile, the Pure and Pure+ variants comes with a panoramic sunroof, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, cruise control, reverse parkine, wireless Android auto/Apple carplay, auto headlamps, Electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto-fold function, rain-sensing wipers and dual-zone climate control. It also has Shark-fin antenna, Steering-mounted controls, Paddle shifters, and supports Voice commands in six languages.

The top-end trims Adventure and Adventure+ features 18-inch wheels, 360-degree camera, terrain modes, a bigger digital display and leatherette trim, Roof rails, Mood lighting on the dashboard, along with a few extra convenience features.

The Sierra can also be bought in a feature rich Accomplished + trim that has Level 2 ADAS with 22 features, Triple screen layout on the dashboard, Arcade suite, iRA connected car technology, Welcome and goodbye animation for the exterior lights, Night Saber Bi-LED booster headlamps, Air purifier with AQI display, Dynamic turn indicators and more features.

Rivals

The Sierra will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor.
