Jeep India has launched a new edition of the Compass SUV in India. The new edition is a special edition and is called ‘Jeep Compass Track Edition.’ The Jeep Compass Track Edition launched with some updates on the exterior and interior with a starting price of Rs 26.78 lakh (ex-showroom). The engine that is offered under the hood remains the same as the regular version.
Booking for the Jeep Compass Track Edition has already started in India and is available across all powertrain options including the 4×4 variant. In terms of prices, the Jeep Compass Track Edition costs Rs 30,000 more than the Model S variant.
What’s new on the Jeep Compass Track Edition?
The Jeep Compass Track Edition gets some visible changes on the outside and this includes Track Edition badge, new decal on the hood and more. There is an addition of new 18-inch grey alloy wheels.
When it comes to interior, the SUV gets Tupelo leatherette upholstery, contrasting beige stitching, smoke chrome finish and much more. The floor mats get ‘Track Edition’ branding.
In terms of equipment, the SUV does not get any new equipment if compared to the regular model. The SUV gets 10.1-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and much more.
Powertrain
The Jeep Compass Track Edition gets three powertrain options. Buyers can choose between 2.0-litre diesel engine with MT, 2.0-litre diesel engine with AT or 2.0-litre diesel engine with 4×4 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Price
The Track Edition of Jeep Compass costs Rs 26.78 lakh for Diesel MT, Rs 28.64 lakh for Diesel AT and Rs 30.58 lakh for Diesel-AT 4×4.
